Dorsett Kuala Lumpur is a four star hotel located near some of the best happening areas in Kuala Lumpur including Jalan Bukit Bintang, Jalan Alor and Pudu where you can experience diversity in terms of food offering, after-hours entertainment, retail and wholesale trade.
The hotel was partly revamped in 2017-2018 with refurbished rooms, a more impressive lobby, new meeting rooms and improved F&B spaces in the podium. Rooms have decent sizes starting at 30 square metres for the Dorsett Room. Many of the rooms have undergone refurbishment in the recent revamp. Please check with the hotel to have a newer room if possible.
Car parking is available although quite limited. There is a 24×7 gym, while the swimming pool is on the podium top with sky views and a glimpse of the city buildings. If you are looking for value near KL City Centre within walking distance from shopping and entertainment spots, this hotel is a worthy contender. This hotel is to be distinguished from its neighbouring property Dorsett Residences Bukit Bintang which is a serviced apartment tower developed by a sister company and offered for sale when it was launched. Some of the apartments in Dorsett Residences Bukit Bintang are now offered as serviced apartments to capture the hotel market in KL.

Location & Position
Dorsett Kuala Lumpur is located on Jalan Imbi on a busy one-way thoroughfare which runs more or less parallel with Jalan Bukit Bintang. Across the road is the Ritz Carlton Hotel KL while further down the road is Berjaya Times Square, an integrated retail, commercial and hotel complex. You can walk through the back lanes to reach Jalan Bukit Bintang where you will find some renowned shopping malls such as Starhill Gallery, Pavilion KL and Fahrenheit.
If you wish to walk to Kuala Lumpur City Centre / Petronas Twin Towers, you can head towards Pavilion Shopping Centre in Jalan Bukit Bintang and take the overhead bridge all the way to KLCC. However keep in mind it is 30 minutes plus walk and will feel more when the weather is hot and humid.
